Sion, just 13 kms away, boasts a well-manicured 18 hole-golf course – with reasonable green fees and a warm welcome assured for visitors. Local speciality events include cellar visits, bread making in the village oven and cheese making in an alpine farm, all of which reveal some of the culture, gastronomy and traditions of Veysonnaz.
