Saint-Léonard UNDERGROUND LAKE
The extraordinary Saint-Léonard underground lake is the largest in Europe and attracts over a 100,000 visitors each year.
Discovered by Jean-Jacques Pittard in 1943 and opened to the public in 1949 it is a truly enchanting experience. No visit to the region is complete without a tour of this natural wonder of international renown.
Multilingual guides take visitors on tours of the lake aboard barges that hold up to 50 people.
